After 5 years bedbound by illness, I decided to start over.

I thought I’d never do anything meaningful again. Little by little, I found small things I could do and got stronger. And like rolling a snowball,l what I could do got bigger and bigger— until now. Until Brave Nails Academy.

I’m passionate about education. I attended BGM Science of Beauty and Business. I’m certified in IBX Repairing and Strengthening Treatment, Aprés Gel X, Luminary, Mozhzheri Russian Manicure, Vetro, Kokoist, Nail Thoughts, BioSculpture, HDH Structure Gel, Erica’s ATA Dry Manicure/Pedicure, Barbicide, and Onyfix. I also took Master Educator training in 2024 with Hilary Dawn Herrera and Erica’s ATA.  

I was born and raised in Metro-Detroit, and received a Bachelor’s in political science from the University of Michigan. I’m licensed as a nail technician in Michigan and Texas. Doing nails was never the plan but it became the dream! And I share openly about it to inspire others to dust themselves off and chase their dreams.
